1st Pointe
Every year we have a new crop of ballet students who graduate to a level where they start dancing on pointe. This is a big event in the life of a young ballerina - her first pointe shoe fitting followed by her first pointe shoe class. This year Harry Mathias took pictures of the first pointe class and we thought you might like to see about a dozen of those photos that start with the fitting of the pointe shoes and end with work on pointe.
