Spanish Character Dance
Ballet Arts offers a program of dance appreciation for local school children that we call Introduction to Dance. This program has been an annual event since 1996. All second grade students in the Conejo Valley Unified School District attend a special private performance at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Kavli Theatre. At this performance, the students are introduced to the different forms of dance around the world including a ballet selection from the Conejo Civic Ballet Company's repertoire. If your child attends public school in the Conejo Valley, chances are that he or she will attend or has attended one of our special programs. Ask your school principal if your school is connected to the Ballet Arts Introduction to Dance program.
