Nutcracker 2012
Conejo Civic Ballet Company's Nutcracker 2012 production was performed Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2:30pm in the Kavli Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Peter Tchaikovsky's score for Nutcracker remains one of the most beloved in ballet. Our special Nutcracker production was choreographed once again, by Maria Tihomirova and Enton Hoxha; both come from the Bolshoi academy and bring their extensive Russian dance training and choreographic skills to Conejo Civic Ballet. This is the third year Maria and Enton have given us a Bolshoi Nutcracker to enjoy. Each year is different because the student dancers change and Maria and Enton want to try new ideas.
This year the photographs of the performance were captured by Cam Ly, a friend of Ballet Arts, who generously donated his services for this production.
