Nutcracker 2010
Conejo Civic Ballet Company's Nutcracker 2010 production was performed Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 2:30pm in the Kavli Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Peter Tchaikovsky's score for Nutcracker remains one of the most beloved in ballet. Our special Nutcracker production was choreographed by Enton Hoxha and Maria Tihomirova; both come from the Bolshoi academy and bring their extensive Russian dance training and choreographic skills to Conejo Civic Ballet. Their vision of Nutcracker, constrained a bit by a non-Bolshoi budget, was large in scope providing an exciting audience experience and laying the ground work for future Nutcrackers.

This year photographs of the performance were captured by members of the Seligman family operating multiple cameras. The Performance listing is for the photos taken at the performance. The Dress Rehearsal photos were taken by Deena Kernan operating with a borrowed camera under variable lighting conditions with all the problems that attend a rehearsal. Despite that she managed to capture some memorable moments.
