Nutcracker 2011
Conejo Civic Ballet Company's Nutcracker 2011 production was performed Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 2:30pm in the Kavli Theatre, Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. Peter Tchaikovsky's score for Nutcracker remains one of the most beloved in ballet. Our special Nutcracker production was choreographed by Maria Tihomirova and Enton Hoxha; both come from the Bolshoi academy and bring their extensive Russian dance training and choreographic skills to Conejo Civic Ballet. This is the second year Maria and Enton have given us a Bolshoi Nutcracker to enjoy. Each year is different because the student dancers change and Maria and Enton want to try new ideas.
