Starlight
Our Starlight page introduces some of CCBC's Star Dancers. Presented here is Ashlyn Lewis, a featured dancer with CCBC. Ashlyn has appeared in many of CCBC productions over the years including, Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and a modern dance recital piece called Under My Skin. She has performed many roles, starting with the roles as page and mouse at an early age and progressing to more difficult emsemble roles. However, it wasn't until 2008 that Ashlyn really had the opportunity to take on solo roles with the character role of "Happy" in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Clara in Nutcracker. Ashlyn auditioned for the Kirov Summer Intensive program last summer and was accepted. This year she was accepted without audition. We look forward to more exciting performances from Ashlyn in the coming years.
