Starlight
Our Starlight page introduces some of CCBC's Star Dancers. Presented here is Bianca Tartaglia, a featured dancer with CCBC. Bianca has appeared in many of CCBC productions over the years including, Paquita, La Fille, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker and Swan Lake. She has performed many roles, usually (as is true of many of our advanced students) two or three roles in a single performance. Bianca is a versatile dancer, performing jazz and hip hop numbers in Introduction to Dance and character roles in classic ballets such as Nutcracker or Sleeping Beauty. Her great flexibility made her Spanish Dance appearance in earlier Nutcrackers a special treat and her recent appearance in Nutcracker 2005 as Snow Queen, Arabian and the a dancer in the Flower Waltz was her most demanding performance yet. Bianca is not only a dancer with solid ballet technique but can be very expressive on stage. On this page you will find a small sample of some of her more recent performances; some ensemble work and some solo performances.
All of the photos were taken at live CCBC performances and are available below in the slideshow. All the video files are Windows Media Player format (.wmv) and are 0.5-3 MBytes in size.
