Starlight
Our Starlight page introduces some of CCBC's Star Dancers. We have selected Mimi Borbas, a featured dancer with CCBC for several years, to honor our Starlight page this season. Mimi exemplifies what we look for in a Starlight dancer, dedication to dance. She actually loves rehearsals and works hard at her ballet technique in class. And it shows on stage. As with all of our Starlight dancers, Mimi has danced in ensemble numbers and solo performances. Notably she has danced Clara in Nutcracker, Aurora in Sleeping Beauty and lead in an exciting new Arabian dance in Nutcracker in 2007 which is probably her most difficult role to date. On this page you can see a small sampling of Mimi's talent through performance photos and video clips.
All of the photos in the slideshow below were taken at live CCBC performances. The same is true of the video clips available through the Flash player embedded below. The video clips range from less than 3MB to over 6MB in size.
