Kelsy has been a member of Conejo Civic Ballet Company, since 2007 and has always shown a tremendous love for dance. She is not only a beautiful, talented dancer on stage but also a very dedicated, hard working dancer offstage who is always willing to help others and enjoys sharing her love of dance with younger students. These are attributes we look for in our advanced students since the world of dance is not only taught in the classroom but is handed down from advanced student to younger student. Kelsy's natural talent and desire to succeed showed especially well in her performance of the Arabian solo in Nutcracker and the Butterfly solo in Snow White. When she is dancing on stage your eyes are drawn to her beautiful lines and extensions. She has danced the Arabian solo each year for the past three years and always brings a fresh inspired approach to the part. She has truly made the Arabian solo her signature piece. This past year Kelsy also danced featured roles as Snow Princess and one of two lead dancers in Waltz of the Flowers. Kelsy's focus on strong ballet technique has served her well in pursuing more contemporary dance forms such as jazz and modern. Kelsy is a tall statuesque dancer with a striking stage presence who rises to any challenge presented to her. Whether she is performing a solo or dancing as part of an ensemble, Kelsy's dedication to perfection shines through.
