Tights
We have a confession to make. We do not sell the cheapest tights. Tights would seem to be a commodity that should vary little in quality if not price but that is not so. There are great differences between the quality of tights from various manufacturers. What you get in a pair of ultra cheap tights is:
- short life - they probably will not last out even one class before they run
- scratchy feel - some pair can be distractingly irritating
- an impediment to your freedom of movement - the tights are not made to stretch effortlessly in all directions - and dancers need to move!
The tights we have selected are offered at a good price and they are top quality. They will outlast cheaper tights many times over and they are manufactured to stretch without hindering the dancer's movement. Like much of our product line, they have been torture tested in dance class by our students who are quick to find flaws in products. Another reason we do not carry low quality tights - we would have too many upset dancers!
Eurotard Convertible Tights
Eurotard microfibre convertible tights can be worn footless or full footed and are manufactured in Italy using an innovative three-dimensional process which allows increased elasticity in every direction providing the dancer the utmost in comfort, fit and durability. They are designed with a 1 1/4 inch microfibre waistband and gusset. The waistband and seams are woven with the same microfibres as the tights.
